Visual Communication Support at MyTime Penrith and PlayConnect+

Attached are some resources to support communication at MyTime Penrith and other groups I foray into. As I engage more in peer support groups and supported playgroup settings I am finding it is making me consider more the access of these spaces and how much more we can do to support children with different abilities.

I am also learning how to integrate visual communication more with my own son through his speech therapy and making it an everyday second nature practice. Through integrating my own learning in my work practice, it enables for it to slowly become second nature and to also work out the practicality - what is the reality of practical use as opposed to overdoing and overpreparing where it becomes impractical.

The visuals were made through Picto4Me which is a free app to make visual communication buttons and boards.
